Brief Company History

Suffolk Fabrications Limited was formed in 2004 by Robert Clubb, working alongside his son Chris.

The workshop was opened in Alpheton, Suffolk, and we started working as a Father and Son team, both dedicated to achieving the best possible metalwork.

Our family have been steel and iron fabricators for 6 generations. The first and second generation opened their workshop in Bow, London, but soon after moved to Sudbury, Suffolk in the early 1900's where the business, F Clubb & Son Ltd, served the town and surrounding areas. Many examples of the steelwork made here still exist in the town to this day.

Robert's passion for all things metal carried through into his hobbies too, particularly vintage cars, of which he restored many in his spare time.

Since the start of Suffolk Fabrications we have continued in the family tradition of excellent metal fabricators renowned for a friendly and reliable service.

Robert is sadly no longer with us, but the business continues with Chris at the helm, continuing to provide the excellent metalwork we're well known for.
